Shoppers at Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Morrisons have been urged to check recent purchases after several separate food recalls were announced across the UK. These warnings do not apply to every pack or every customer. Most recalls cover specific lot numbers, best-before dates or pack sizes, so shoppers should compare the exact details on their products before eating, opening or returning them. The Food Standards Agency advises consumers to follow the instructions attached to each individual recall.
