An easyJet Airbus A320-214 left London Luton Airport from the wrong runway starting point after its crew had calculated performance for the full length of Runway 25. The aircraft, registered G-EZUK, was operating flight U22335 to Málaga on June 13, 2025, with 180 passengers and six crew on board.

The UK Air Accidents Investigation Branch published its report on June 11, 2026, classifying the occurrence as a serious incident. The aircraft departed safely and nobody was injured, but the easyjet a320 take-off error showed how habit and confirmation bias can reduce the safety checks that are meant to catch rare but important mismatches.
