Another UK Heatwave Is Building — But Could 40°C Really Return?

Another burst of summer heat is developing across the UK, with temperatures expected to climb as high pressure strengthens from the weekend. London could reach around 31°C by Monday, while other parts of southern and eastern England may also approach or exceed 30°C.

The latest heatwave weather forecast supports a renewed hot spell, but it does not currently predict anything close to 40°C. The most reliable outlook points towards several increasingly warm days, significant regional differences and lower humidity than during June’s record-breaking heat.
