A chocolate bar marketed to people avoiding dairy has been pulled from sale after UK food safety officials found that it contains milk not declared on the label. Buttermilk Confections is recalling its Honeycomb Blast Choc Bar because the undeclared allergen creates a possible health risk for anyone with a milk allergy or intolerance.
The Food Standards Agency issued the allergy alert on June 11, 2026, and advised affected shoppers not to eat the product. The warning is especially serious because the bar is plant-based, making it more likely to be bought by people who rely closely on dairy-free labelling.
