Another long-running British fashion name is disappearing, and this time it is not a familiar high street chain with dozens of stores. The brand at the centre of the collapse is Original Blues, a knitwear label built around indigo-dyed cotton, nautical designs and traditional British-made craftsmanship.
Original Blues has appointed liquidators after 41 years in business, with its e-commerce site already closed and password-protected. FashionUnited reported that Umang Patel of Neum Insolvency was named liquidator, while Companies House lists the company’s registered office as care of Neum Insolvency in Harrow.
