Some dogs are difficult because they are aggressive, but many are difficult for a more ordinary reason: they were bred for jobs most modern homes cannot offer. A beautiful dog can become overwhelming when its instincts are stronger than its daily routine.

After working with thousands of dogs, the breeds I would avoid are not “bad” breeds. They are simply breeds I would not choose unless I had the time, structure, space, and experience to meet them properly every single day.
